this simple project seeks to find 100 faces, each face for one year of a full century, and to do so in 100 places around the world.

questions...

You will need to explain the project – it is a century of faces! 100 schools from all around the world are taking photos of 100 people (person 1 will be aged 1, person 5 will be aged 5 etc). Each person will be interviewed and featured on a special website! We will be comparing the different cultures and lives of people around thw world, and you can too.

Don’t forget that you MUST ask and explain before taking someone’s photo! Once their photo has been taken (or before if you would prefer!) you need to ask them these questions!

Their name: (give it as a number not words please)

Their age: (remember you are trying to find one person's age to match each number from 1 to 100)

What they had to eat this morning: (some detail would be useful)

Who else lives with them: (family or friends etc)

Discover something about their earliest years:

Describe a recent happy event in their life:

(briefly) what happens in a typical day for them:

Now add a photograph - full face please (it is a century of faces!)

And can you say which town (or village) and country they live in now: (this will go on Google Maps - we don't need the road or address!)

and which year they were born in:

And please don't forget to say "thank you very much for taking part" and tell them where they can see all the other centurions from around the world
